Sept. 26 webinar: Crisis in the Mediterranean

Saturday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. EDT

Speaking live on the web: Alex Santoukos from OKDE-Spartakos in Greece

For the first time in a while, there is a threat of war in Europe that could have big repercussions for Northern Africa and the Middle East. A war over oil deposits waged by Turkey and Greece is threatening the Eastern Mediterranean. The possibility of intervention by several big imperialist powers looms behind them. What kind of antiwar movement is needed?

Socialist Resurgence is sponsoring a public web presentation on these issues by Alex Santoukos from OKDE-Spartakos, the Greek section of the Fourth International.

The OKDE says: No to the Greek aggression in the Eastern Mediterranean! No mining and extractions in the Mediterranean! Rise up against war plans – for a mass movement inside and outside the army! Solidarity and fellowship between Greek and Turkish, local, refugee and migrant workers!
