Movements will gather at the Subway Workers’ Union to protest against the injustices of the FIFA World Cup.
On June 12, we will be fighting!
The CSP-Conlutas and many trade unions and popular movements are organizing a demonstration on the opening day of the FIFA World Cup, in São Paulo. The concentration at the headquarters of the Subway Workers’ Union begins at 10 am. The demonstration has national character, with representations from various states and other cities in the state of São Paulo. Fighting sectors also promise to be present.
The mobilization is not against the FIFA world cup, much less against the sport, but an action that confronts the local, state and Federal governments and questions the abandonment of public services, the rights of workers and the people, who suffer with forced evictions and the lack of assistance, following the systematic favoring of entrepreneurs of mega-events.
The online broadcast of the protest march begins at 10 am on June 12 (Brazilian time zone). Watch it on this website.
