The local committee of the Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk, located in the capital of Syria, calls this Saturday, January 25, a global day of solidarity and fight against the terrible conditions that the regime of Bashar Al Assad imposes on its inhabitants.

Yarmouk is the main Palestinian refugee camp in Syria. Formed in 1957, the product of the expulsion of the Palestinian people, it came to house 250,000 people between Palestinian refugees and Syrians. Over time, Yarmouk became an important district of Damascus.

This Jan. 25 also marks the third anniversary of the Egyptian revolution. The PSTU and its sister parties of the International Workers League (IWL-IV International) will participate in the unconditional solidarity of Yarmouk throughout the world, as part of the defense of Syrian and Palestinian revolution, and manifested also in the defense of the Egyptian revolution.
We go to these events with a position of unconditional solidarity with Yarmouk, as part of the defense of the Syrian revolution and the Palestinian cause as a whole.
Our demands must be:
· End the criminal siege of Yarmouk!
· Out with Bashar!
· Victory to the Syrian revolution!
· Victory to the Palestinian cause! For a secular, democratic and non-racist Palestinian state! Abolition of the State of Israel!
