La masacre realizada por el ejército israelí contra la flotilla que llevaba ayuda humanitaria a la franja de Gaza ha mostrado una vez más la verdadera cara del Estado de Israel.
El ejército sionista realizó un abordaje en aguas internacionales a los barcos que transportaban 10 mil toneladas de ayuda humanitaria (cemento, alimentos medicinas, juguetes y libros) y 750 activistas (miembros de ONG’s, pacifistas, periodistas, escritores y parlamentarios europeos). Entre los participantes se encuentra Heydi Epstein, de 85 años, sobreviviente del Holocausto judío, que lucha contra la agresión a los palestinos desde que los sionistas perpetraron la masacre en los campamentos de Chabra y Chatilla en 1982.
Los tripulantes se defendieron con palos del ataque de los soldados israelíes de élite, pertrechados con armamento sofisticado, que asesinaron a al menos 12 activistas.
La desvergüenza de Israel no tiene límites: han acusado a los activistas de ser miembros de Hamas y de Al Qaeda (poniendo un signo igual a las dos organizaciones), han declarado que tuvieron que disparar en legítima defensa (cuando eran ellos los que estaban asaltando en aguas internacionales) y que actuaron contra la flotilla porque Israel estaba siendo amenazada.
Para Israel el que un grupo de personas de 60 países quiera paliar un poco el sufrimiento del pueblo palestino es una grave amenaza a su seguridad. La llegada de una flotilla humanitaria es considerada por Israel una provocación y les legitima a asaltarlos en aguas internacionales y a abrir fuego contra los activistas. La franja de Gaza sigue después de más de un año cercada por el ejército israelí y su colaborador egipcio, impidiendo la entrada de ayuda humanitaria, de alimentos, de medicamentos de materiales de construcción para reparar los destrozos producidos por los bombardeos a la población civil, de finales de diciembre de 2008, que produjeron más de 1400 muertos y que convirtieron en escombros un 20% de las viviendas.
Israel con este ataque ha demostrado al mundo que para ellos no tiene ningún valor la legalidad internacional aunque haya sido esa legalidad de las Naciones Unidad, la que le ha legitimado su existencia hasta el día de hoy. Esa legalidad, que ellos se saltan cuando lo ven necesario, es la que ha llevado al exilio a millones de palestinos y a vivir cercados por muros y en la miseria a los que sobreviven en la franja de Gaza y Cisjordania.
Esta masacre mostró también que el Estado nazi-sionista de Israel está dispuesto no solo a exterminar al pueblo palestino sino a todo aquel que ose ayudarle, así sea solo llevándoles alimentos para que no perezcan de hambre.
La propuesta de la creación de un Estado Palestino en los territorios de Gaza y Cisjordania que se viene proponiendo desde hace décadas, y que Obama retomó al asumir como presidente de EEUU, como solución al conflicto, no solo es irrealizable porque dejaría a los palestinos sin su tierra y a merced de Israel, sino que además porque Israel no está dispuesto ni siquiera a esto.
La nueva masacre por último muestra que no hay solución pacífica para Israel. A los activistas de la flotilla, les responde son fuego y muerte. Hay que recordar que no es la primera vez que activistas internacionales que se oponen al genocidio que realiza Israel son agredidos. Así ocurrió con la activista judía norteamericana Rachel Corrie que se oponía pacíficamente a la destrucción de casas de palestinos y fue aplastada por una excavadora israelí, siete años atrás. Con su nombre se ha bautizado uno de los barcos que todavía están por llegar con la ayuda humanitaria.
Es una vergüenza que haya acuerdos comerciales preferenciales como los que tienen el Mercosur y la Unión Europea con Israel. Países como Brasil y su presidente Lula, que dicen apoyar a los palestinos, compraron armas y a aumentaron el intercambio comercial con Israel en los últimos meses. Es hora ya de exigir a todos los gobiernos del mundo que cierren sus embajadas en Israel y que dejen de reconocer y comerciar con el Estado asesino de Israel. Hay que imponer el boicot a todos los productos israelíes e impedir el comercio con los asesinos.
Llamamos a las organizaciones obreras, a los sindicatos, a realizar el boicot a Israel como antaño se hizo contra la Sudáfrica del Apartheid. No podemos esperar a que los gobiernos lo lleven a cabo. Los trabajadores de todo el mundo podemos conseguirlo, impidiendo que se transporte ningún tipo de mercancías de o hacia Israel.
Hay que denunciar la hipocresía de los gobiernos de EEUU y de la Unión Europea (hay muchos heridos y algunos muertos europeos entre las víctimas del ataque israelí) o de la misma ONU, que lamentan las muertes pero no condenan a Israel. Se dedican a exigir a los mismos autores de la masacre la investigación de los hechos. Pero los hechos son incontestables: los israelíes asaltaron con armas de fuego en aguas internacionales a una flotilla de activistas que llevaban ayuda humanitaria asesinando e hiriendo a decenas de personas.
La ONU, que está al servicio del Imperialismo para quien lleva 70 años apoyando sus agresiones militares, no ha condenado los hechos actuales y las “condenas” anteriores, cuando las hace a Israel, no han sido más que meras declaraciones sin ningún resultado práctico.
Es hora de obligar al gobierno de Hosni Mubarack de Egipto a que abra inmediata, total y definitivamente las fronteras que cuida en favor de Israel y que están permitiendo el bloqueo y el hambre del pueblo palestino. No basta con que abra por unas horas o pocos días el puesto de Rafah para el paso de ayuda humanitaria o de algunos enfermos. El pueblo de Gaza tiene derecho a que puedan moverse, entrar y salir de su tierra, así como el paso de todo tipo de mercancías sin las restricciones que les impone el gobierno israelí.
Los pueblos árabes están exigiendo hace tiempo a sus gobiernos que dejen de conciliar y negociar con Israel, que deben dejar de reconocer al Estado de Israel, que los que mantienen relaciones diplomáticas deben romperlas de forma inmediata. Es necesario todo el apoyo al pueblo palestino contra los que los masacran a diario.
El gobierno turco retiró a su embajador en Israel y suspendió las maniobras militares conjuntas que tenía previstas con Israel. Varios de los activistas que fueron asesinados por las tropas sionistas, así como el barco donde se produjeron las muertes, eran de nacionalidad turca. Hay que exigirle a Erdogan, presidente de Turquía, que rompa definitivamente con Israel, al que hasta ahora estaba dando cobertura entre los países musulmanes.
Es hora de luchar para acabar de una vez con esa lacra que hay en la humanidad llamado Estado de Israel, un Estado racista y genocida. Solo con la destrucción del Estado de Israel podrá construirse la paz en Palestina. No hay nada que negociar con Israel sino su propio fin. Los palestinos tienen derecho a recuperar su país. Así se podrá levantar una Palestina laica, democrática y no racista.
¡Hay que acabar de una vez con el Estado de Israel!

The massacre perpetrated by the Israeli army against the Freedom flotilla, which was carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip has revealed once more the real nature of the State of Israel.
On international waters, the Zionist army boarded the ships carrying 10 000 tons of humanitarian help (cement, food, medicines, toys and books) and 750 activists (members of NGOs, pacifists, journalists, writers and members of European Parliament). Among them, the 85 years-old Heydi Epstein, survivor of the Jewish Holocaust, who, since the massacre committed by the Zionists in the campsites of Chabra and Chatilla in 1982, is fighting against the aggression against Palestinians. Members of the crew defended themselves with sticks from the attack of the Israeli elite soldiers armed with sophisticated weapons, who killed at least 12 activists.
Israeli shamelessness has no limits: they have accused the activists of being members of Hamas and Al Qaeda (presenting both organisations as if they were the same). They reported that they had to shoot in legitimate defence (while they committed the assault in international waters) and that they had to act against the flotilla because Israel was being threatened.
According to Israel, the fact that a group of people from 60 countries wished to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians constitutes a serious menace for their security. The arrival of the humanitarian flotilla is regarded as a provocation and is said to legitimate their armed raid in international waters. After over a year, The Gaza Strip is still hedged in by Israeli army and by their Egyptian collaborator. This prevents any humanitarian aid to get through, such as food, building materials to repair the damage caused by bombing civilian homes ever since late December 2008, when over 1400 fatal casualties were claimed and where 20% of living quarters were shattered.
With this attack Israel has proved that international legality is worth nothing as far as they are concerned, even if it is the legality of United Nations, the one that has legitimated their existence so far. This legality, which they skip each time they deem it necessary to do so, is precisely what has driven millions of Palestinians and forced the survivors in the Gaza Strip and in the West bank to live hedged in by walls and in dire poverty.
This massacre has also evidenced that the nazi-Zionist state of Israel is willing to exterminate not only the Palestinian people but also those who dare to help them even if only by fetching them some food so that they would not starve.
The proposal of creating a Palestinian State on the territories of Gaza and West Bank as a solution to the conflict, which is being proposed for the past decades and which Obama took up as a president of the USA, is not only unreachable, for it would leave the Palestinians without their land and at the mercy of Israel but also because Israel is not ready to accept even that.
Finally, this new massacre proves that there is no peaceful solution for Israel. They respond the activists of the flotilla with fire and death. We must bear in mind that this is not the first time that international activists opposing genocide committed by Israel suffer aggression. This was what happened to the American Jewish activist, Rachel Corrie, who peacefully opposed the destruction of Palestinian houses and was crushed by an Israeli bulldozer seven years ago. One of the ships of the flotilla, which is still about to arrive with humane aid, has been baptised with her name.
It is disgraceful that there should be preferential trade agreements with Israel such as those made with Mercosur and European Union. Such countries, as Brazil of President Lula, which say they support the Palestinians, bought their weapons and increased their commercial exchange with Israel during these last few years.
It is high time we demanded that all the governments in the world should close up their embassies in Israel and stop acknowledging the State of Israel and trading with it. We must impose boycott on all the Israeli products and impede any trade with the murderers.
We call on all workers’ organisations, trade unions, to boycott Israel the way we did years ago with the South Africa of the Apartheid. We cannot sit and wait for the governments to do so. We, the workers of the world, can achieve this by preventing any wares to be transported to or from Israel.
We must expose the hypocrisy of US and European Union governments (there are many European wounded and several dead among the casualties of the Israeli raid); or of the UN, who regret the death toll but do not convict Israel. They limit themselves on demanding that the murderers should investigate the events. But facts are absolutely obvious: the Israelis raided a humane aid flotilla with heavy weapons and on international waters. Killing and wounding dozens of people.
The UN, which serves imperialism and has been supporting their military aggressions for 70 years, has not exposed the current events and their previous “exposures” – when they affect Israel are nothing but mere statements without any practical effect.
It is high time we force Hosni Mubarack, president of Egypt, to open up the frontiers totally and definitely, for they are barriers to protect Israel and meant to doom the Palestinians to famine. It is not enough to open the frontier for a few hours a day or just a few days to allow the passage of some humane aid or the transport of some sick patients. The people of Gaza have the right to move, get in and out of their land, as well to let goods in and out without the restrictions made by the Israeli government.
The Arab nations have been demanding from their governments to stop conciliating and negotiating with Israel, to stop acknowledging the State of Israel and that those who have diplomatic relations should break them immediately. It is necessary to give full support to the Palestinian people against those who massacre them every day.
The Turkish government withdrew his ambassador from Israel and suspended the joint military manoeuvres they were planning to do. Several of the activists murdered by Zionist troops as well as the ship where they were killed were of Turkish nationality. We must demand from Erdogan, President of Turkey, to split definitely with Israel whom he has so far been covering up for among Moslem countries.
It is time to finish once and for all with this curse that exists in the mankind, called State of Israel, a racist and genocidal state. It will only be possible to build a peaceful Palestine once the State of Israel has been destroyed. There is nothing to negotiate with Israel except their own end. Palestinians have a right to recover their country. Then a secular, democratic and non-racist Palestine can be erected.
Once and for all, we must put an end to the State of Israel!
