center;\"><strong>Por ART \u2013 Ecuardor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el marco del del Paro Nacional en Ecuador, 12 manifestantes originarios de la provincia de Imbabura que fueron detenidos y declarados como terroristas por el gobierno por ejercer su leg\u00edtmo derecho a la protesta.\u00a0 Con fecha 25 de septiembre fueron trasladados ilegalmente hacia las c\u00e1rceles de Esmeraldas y Potoviejo, alejados de sus lugares de residencia y de sus familias, lo que constituye una grave vulneraci\u00f3n de sus derechos.<\/p>\n<p>Durante las audiencias se registraron graves irregularidades, como:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Negaci\u00f3n del derecho a un abogado particular, impidiendo una defensa adecuada.<\/li>\n<li>Presuntas acusaciones infundadas de terrorismo, criminalizando la protesta social.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n Regional de Asesor\u00eda en Derechos Humanos (INREDH) ha alertado que este traslado forzado no solo representa una violaci\u00f3n del debido proceso y de los principios fundamentales de justicia sino que tambi\u00e9n pone en riesgo la vida de los luchadores detenidos ya que no existe ning\u00fan tipo de garant\u00eda de derechos por parte del Estado\u00a0 y muestra de ello es que en estos d\u00edas se registraron dos masacres carcelarias en Esmeraldas y Machala con 14 y 17 v\u00edctimas mortales respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>Alertamos a la comunidad nacional e internacional que este tipo de acciones represivas sientan un peligroso precedente para el ejercicio de los derechos humanos en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Exigimos:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La liberaci\u00f3n inmediata de los detenidos arbitrariamente.<\/li>\n<li>Que se respeten los principios del debido proceso.<\/li>\n<li>Que se investigue y sancione a los responsables de estas violaciones.<\/li>\n<li>Que se garantice el derecho a la protesta y la libre expresi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure
